Bed-wetting (involuntary nightly urination or primary nocturnal enuresis) in patients older than 5 years with normal capacity of concentrate urine. Nocturia (frequent urination during the night) in adults. Please read section 2 carefully for important information on the safe use of Desmopressin in this case.
Composition: Cholestyramine 4g Indication: RESINCOLESTIRAMINA belongs to a group of medicines called ion exchange resins, which bind to bile acids. It is used to lower the levels of cholesterol (a type of fat) in the body, that can cause heart problems. The medicine acts in the bowel, binding to bile acids that contain cholesterol. Thereby avoiding its absorption, and eliminating it in the stools. RESINCOLESTIRAMINA can also be used to treat a specific type of itching caused by bile retention (biliary stasis).
